If This Work Matters to You, Here’s How You Can Support It

Everything I do now comes from lived experience.

The speaking, the writing, The Recovery Initiative — it’s all built on the same thing. Real conversations about trauma, addiction, and recovery that most people avoid, but a lot of people are living through.

I don’t charge people to access support through The Recovery Initiative. I don’t put barriers in the way of people who are already struggling. If someone needs a space to talk, to listen, or just to not feel on their own for a bit, that should be available to them.

That’s always been the priority.

But the reality is, running something like this still takes time, energy, and resources. The Zoom sessions, the content, the messages, the work behind the scenes — it all adds up. The speaking and advocacy work I do is part of the same mission. It’s about getting these conversations into rooms where they’re needed, not just keeping them online.

This isn’t just about sharing a story.

It’s about building something that helps people feel understood, challenges stigma, and gives people a place to connect when they might not have that anywhere else.

That’s where support comes in.

If what I’m doing has helped you, or you believe in the work, you can support it through Buy Me a Coffee. It’s not a payment for access, and it’s not expected. It’s just a way for people who want to, to contribute to keeping this going.

Every bit of support goes back into maintaining and growing what’s already here — the community, the content, the conversations, and the opportunities to reach more people.

You don’t have to donate to be part of this. Turning up, engaging, and being part of the space matters just as much.

But if you’ve ever taken something from what I share, or you want to help it reach someone else who needs it, that option is there.

Because this only works if it keeps going.

And it only keeps going with support.

If this work means something to you, or you want to help it reach someone who needs it, you can support it below. Every bit helps keep this going.
